Abstract
The human circulatory system is a complex process that controls body temperature and transports oxygen and vital substances to various organs of the body. The circulatory system consists of several parts that, using feedback mechanisms, control the volume, flow, and blood pressure during various mental and physical activities in a person's body. In this article, a comprehensive model of the circulatory system will be presented using the bandgraph method, which includes a mechanical model of the heart, a model of the body's vascular system, and a model of the pulmonary vascular system. Using the bandgraph method will provide a simple block model of the system, as well as a set of first-order differential equations for use in simulation. Using this method provides a deep understanding of the dynamics of the system during the process and the interaction between the various components of the circulatory system. After obtaining the bandgraph model, the circulatory system was simulated in the 20-Sim software. Using the simulation results, changes in pressure and volume of the right and left ventricles, and pressure of the aorta and pulmonary artery over time were examined.
